Firstly, we must wear an adequate shoe that does not gather foot to avoid the foot bunion and corns. Shoes whose heels are more than 6 cm should be worn as rarely as possible.
Wearing very high heels, body weight is not balanced distributed throughout the soles of the feet. Due to the oblique position of the sole, the entire weight presses the fingers and articulation of front part of foot is overworked. Thus, the entire skeleton is affected (especially the pelvis and spine that will warp).

Here are the rituals of legs care and of health maintenance of them:
- Do a foot bath with lukewarm water, in every evening before bed,. You can alternate warm water with cold water (few seconds). If you feel tired feet add in the water one handful of wheat bran. If your feet are swollen you may sink them to the ankles in a warm decoction of walnut leaves. Then, rinse your feet with cold water.
- Apply up a feet special lotion; gently massaging the fingers, soles, ankles and heels.
- Go as long as possible with bare feet (at home, on grass, sand) for the fortification and beautification of your legs.

FEET SWEATING

Feet sweating (hyperhidrosis) can also lead, in case of insufficient hygiene, to appearance of a repulsive odor. This odor is caused by the action of a microbe (Bacterium foetidum) that breaks down ammonia substances of sweat causing a disease called bromhidrosis.

These disorders, hyperhidrosis and bromhidrosis can be avoided if the feet will be washed twice a day with cold water and soap; after that, special creams will be applied. Also, feet and shoes (necessarily of genuine leather) will be dusted with talcum powder and will wear socks made of natural fibers.

CRACKED HEELS

The skin of heels thickens and cracks due to poor blood circulation, to overweight and the skin dryness.
If your heels are cracked, evening before bedtime, make a prolonged feet bath with water
and soap. After the skin of heels soften, rub them with a pumice stone. Then, apply a fat cream and wear cotton socks. It is recommended to wear socks all night.

FOOT CORNS

Corns are a thickened stratum corneum that is localized due to strong pressure of inappropriate footwear (rigid, tight, with very sharp toe cap).

If you have corns, wear comfortable shoes with low heels. Wash your feet with soap and warm water until the corns soften and then use special drugs.

FOOT BUNION

Bunion (Hallux valgus) is a thumb inward deviation which leads to the raising of proximal end of the first finger phalanx.

Bunion arises due to wearing of the wrong improper shoes (rigid, narrow, with heels too high) due to flat feet and even obesity. Bunions are accompanied by severe and permanent pain.
To prevent bunions, wear comfortable and suitable shoes.

VARICOSE VEINS

Varicose veins represent a disorder caused by excessive dilation (swelling) of one or more veins, which lose their elasticity. Varicose veins can be hereditary but can also be caused by the prolonged standing because blood flows harder and goes hardly to the heart. Also, varicose veins can occur in the obese people and nerves.

To treat the varicose veins avoid consuming fatty foods, spices, canned food, flour, salt and sugar in excess. It is also recommended the movement, walking. Special exercises will be practiced standing with outstretched body and legs elevated. Wearing of tight pantyhose should be avoided. The evolution of varicose veins can cause chronic varicose ulcers requiring surgical interventions in this case.

STRETCH MARKS

Stretch marks represent skin lesions in linear form, with appearance of scars, from a pearly-white color to pink purple. They may have a few centimeters in length and width by 1 cm.

Stretch marks appear after the rupture of elastic fibers, caused by sudden and repeated stretching and relaxation of the skin (pregnant women, those who practice bodybuilding, people who suddenly lose weight). Stretch marks generally occur on the breasts (for pregnant women), abdomen, buttocks, arms, legs, underarms. But they also can be hereditary.

To prevent stretch marks, avoid sudden increases or decreases in weight and the sudden increase in muscle mass. Permanent maintenance of the skin with moisturizers containing vitamins A, C and E is recommended.

Treatment of stretch marks is only surgical, with laser, ultraviolet or ultrasound.
